About Tom

Thomas J. Normile, PE, joined Keast & Hood in 1996 after serving in a number of previous positions with E, AE and AEC companies in the US and abroad. He rose to Principal in 1998 and served in that role until his retirement in 2025. Having spent 10 of his formative professional years in an AE firm, Tom brought a passion for collaboration with architects to his work at Keast & Hood and challenged himself and his colleagues to find creative, yet simple and constructable designs in service of his clients’ visions. Within the firm, Tom was a mentor and communicator and was known for a dogged attention to detail and commitment to quality. Tom earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
