About Matt

Matt joined Keast & Hood as a Drexel co-op in 2022 and was hired full-time after graduating in 2023. Since then, he has worked on a variety of complex projects, including lateral analysis of existing structures, providing construction-phase engineering support, mechanical pipe racks, and adaptive reuse of buildings.

He is passionate about transforming designs into lasting structures and thrives on technically challenging projects that push his abilities and foster innovative solutions to complex structural problems. Matt particularly enjoys solving advanced analytical problems and collaborating directly with architects and contractors to develop buildable, functional, and cost-effective solutions. In addition to project work, Matt supports the firm’s software, AI, and equipment management efforts. He is dedicated to staying informed about emerging technologies in the structural engineering field, continually expanding his expertise to better serve clients and project teams.

Matt currently holds an EIT certification, has passed the PE Exam early, and is eligible to apply for full licensure in 2026.
