About Matt

Matt joined Keast & Hood in July 2012 and has nearly 20 years of engineering experience. Over the course of his career, Matt has worked on a wide variety of project types including the renovation of existing buildings and the new construction of buildings and non-building structures. Matt’s diverse structural engineering experience has ranged from small renovations to the new construction or large renovations of notable Philadelphia landmarks. Known for embracing complex challenges, Matt combines strong communication skills with a strong technical background to help design and construction teams navigate the nuances of structural systems. In addition to his project work, he plays a key role in developing company standards, training staff, and performing quality control reviews. Recognized for his dedication and structural engineering expertise, Matt was promoted to Associate in 2022.

In his free time Matt enjoys strength training, hiking, watching movies, playing arcades, and relaxing with his family by the pool.
