About Sena
Sena is a structural engineer who joined Keast & Hood in January 2024. She holds a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering with a construction management minor from Drexel University and brings six years of industry experience. Some of Sena’s current projects include Pennsbury High School, Foundation Academies Charter School, Academy of Music Improvements, and Share Food Program Renovation. Her project portfolio includes extensive experience with new construction steel-framed buildings across the commercial, healthcare, and educational sectors, as well as wood-framed structures over steel podiums. As a licensed professional engineer, Sena is eager to take on new challenges, tackle complex projects, and collaboratively and consistently drive our success forward.
Sena is also the embodied carbon champion for Keast & Hood’s commitment to the SE2050 initiative, where she leads efforts to reduce embodied carbon in structural systems. She is passionate about sustainable design and actively advocates for integrating low-carbon strategies into everyday practice. Sena currently serves as the chair of the Learning Committee for Professional Women in Construction’s Philadelphia Chapter where she leads the design and planning of four marquee events each year that highlight professionals throughout the AEC industry.
Outside of work, Sena enjoys traveling, discovering local coffee shops and restaurants, and staying active through group fitness classes.
