About Amanda

Amanda joined Keast & Hood as a structural designer after graduating from Drexel University in 2022. She has contributed to projects ranging from new construction and adaptive reuse to historic restoration and preservation. With extensive experience in K–12 and higher education design, she is passionate about creating safe, functional, and inspiring learning environments. Amanda values a culture of respect and collaboration on every project. She combines technical precision with teamwork to meet structural requirements while supporting the goals of the design team and the communities the work serves. She contributes to mentorship within the firm and serves on internal committees including Professional Societies, Social Committee, and DEI. Beyond the office, she is active in DVASE, WiSE, PWC, and ASCE YMF, and is committed to outreach efforts that help students explore structural engineering as a career path.
